The Raven

As a compensation here is a recipe for some really good cookies:

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup (113 g) butter
  • 1/2 cup (99 g) granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup (54 g) brown sugar packed
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons cannabis (optional and illegal in many countries)
  • 2 teaspoons dried chili (optional)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 3/4 cups (210 g) all-purpose flour¹
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup (170 g) semisweet chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F / 180 C.
  2. Nuke (Microwave) the butter for about 40 seconds.
    Butter should be completely melted but not warm.
  3. In a large bowl, mix butter with the sugars until well-combined.
  4. Stir in vanilla and egg until incorporated.
  5. Add the flour, baking soda, salt, chili (optional) and cannabis (optional)
  6. Mix dough until just combined. Dough should be soft and a little sticky but not overly sticky.
  7. Stir in chocolate chips.
  8. Scoop out 1.5 tablespoons of dough (medium cookie scoop) and place on baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 7-10 minutes, or until cookies are set. They will be puffy and still look a little underbaked in the middle.
  10. Wait 30 minutes before eating (this is the bad part)
